We were having multiple problems with our two systems and knew they needed to be cleaned, for a start, so I went into research mode to educate myself on what needs to be done. The EPA website led me to the NADCA website which provided the names of companies CERTIFIED in air cleaning—this means the company has demonstrated expertise in proper HVAC cleaning and restoration practices, employs certified specialists, and follows strict standards. I knew that would not necessarily guarantee quality work, so my due diligence continued. I checked BBB ratings and scoured the reviews of the companies provided. It was down to two companies. The vetting process continued with phone interviews, and then the choice was simple after talking, at length, with owner/operator Jorge of TrueTech Services. His knowledge in this field, as well as his genuine concern for helping, and protecting, people was evident. It was a joy to discuss matters with him, he has a great sense of humor. Not only has he been practicing in his field for over two decades, but he also advanced his training and knowledge and is a Certified Ventilation Inspector (CVI).
